The short version. The terminal itself carries the long version: its main panels have a ? button that explains what the panel does and what it costs you to get it wrong.
First steps, in order
- Secure the account before anything else. Set a personal password and turn on two-factor authentication. Pulse refuses to enable real trading until both are done.
- Start on the simulation account. No exchange account and no API key needed. It uses real prices with fake money, and applies the same margin, liquidation and order-rejection rules as a live account. It does not reproduce slippage or partial fills.
- Read the market page before you take a position. It gives the general climate, the relative strength of altcoins against BTC, and how close your positions are to liquidation. None of it is a signal. It is context.
- Place your first SmartTrade. Pick the pair and the leverage, choose your entry, then set at least one target and one stop before sending. Read the summary panel last: it shows the size, the margin used and the distance to your stop. That is where a mistake becomes visible.
- Let Pulse manage the trade. Once sent, it appears under Active SmartTrades. Pulse watches the price on the server and fires your targets and your stop.
- Only then consider going live, with a key that has no withdrawal permission.

Questions people ask before putting money in
If I close my browser, does my stop still work?
Stops placed at the exchange, yes: they do not depend on us at all. Stops held in the monitor, only while Pulse runs, and those positions are labelled watched-only so you can tell them apart.
Can Pulse withdraw my funds?
Pulse never asks for withdrawal permission and has no code that makes withdrawals. A key configured without withdrawal permission does not allow Pulse to make a withdrawal. Create the key without it, and always check the permissions directly with your exchange.
Why is the simulation balance not in my total?
Deliberately. Fake money would inflate the total and make the dashboard useless as a picture of what you actually own.
Is there a mobile app?
No. The terminal works in a mobile browser, but it is designed for a screen where you can see the size and the stop before you send.
