Trading leveraged cryptocurrency derivatives can cost you more than the amount you deposit. Prices move fast and without warning. Liquidation can occur in seconds. You should not trade with money you cannot afford to lose entirely.
The specific risks of using an automated tool
- A bot executes your mistake faithfully. A misconfigured ladder or grid will keep buying exactly as instructed while the price falls.
- A stop is not a guarantee. In a fast or illiquid market, the price at which your stop executes can be far worse than the price you set. Some stops are held in Pulse's monitor rather than at the exchange, and those protect you only while Pulse is running; the interface labels them watched-only.
- Connectivity fails. Your exchange's API, your network, or Pulse itself can be unavailable at the moment you need it most.
- The exchange can reject or requote. Orders can be rejected, partially filled, or filled at a different price than displayed.
- Leverage multiplies both directions. At 25×, a move of about 4 % against you is enough to wipe out your margin, and liquidation usually comes before that.
- A webhook address is a trigger. Anyone who obtains it can fire the preset or bot it is linked to, within the size you configured. Keep it private.
Simulation is not a prediction
The simulation account uses real prices and fake money. It is an excellent way to learn the interface and to test a configuration. It is not evidence that a strategy will be profitable: it does not fully reproduce slippage, partial fills, funding costs at scale, or the behaviour of a real order book reacting to your order. Results obtained in simulation, and any statistics shown in Pulse, do not predict future results.
